Founder and principal researcher Robert W. Kahle has more than 25 years of professional research and evaluation experience. His credentials and understanding of human interaction in multiple contexts combine to employ sophisticated qualitative and quantitative strategies to meet clients’ needs.   

Bob approaches each assignment from a sociological perspective -- personally designing, organizing, conducting, analyzing and reporting on all research to ensure robust information for Kahle Research Solutions' clients.

Bob is an expert at conducting evaluations, focus groups, in-depth interviews and surveys to get critical input from customers, suppliers and thought leaders – whether in person at facilities nationwide, or virtually using the latest online technology and research tools. Fortune 50 manufacturers and service providers, as well as non-profits tackling tough social problems, know that Bob Kahle is adept at doing the right research to deliver critical insights.

In 2007, Paramount Market Publishing released Bob's first book, "Dominators, Cynics, and Wallflowers," which provides practical strategies for moderating meaningful focus groups.  Read what others are saying about Bob's book here.

In addition to his Ph.D. from Wayne State University, Bob earned M.A. and B.A. degrees in Sociology from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.  Bob is a member of the American Evaluation Association. 

While Bob is personally involved in every project, he involves experienced colleagues and support to ensure outstanding results.

Bob's longtime assistant, Maria Hunsberger, has been part of Kahle Research Solutions since 1998.  She uses her strong organizational, writing, and editing skills to assist Bob in serving clients.  Maria earned her Bachelor of General Studies degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
